I worked in the yard all morning and it was so nice to be out. I usually weigh on Tues but I will be out of town. I was thinking I can take my scale in the van and use it. Then I thought , oh ,that is a bit much. Wont hurt to wait til the following week. I will be gone 4 days. Then I am pondering about bringing some of my food. We will stay at a resort and have facilities so it will be convenient to eat stuff I bring. Eat out once a day. Vacations are suppose to be "eat out " have treats ya da ya da But let me tell ya. I remember back in the day. I had lost 45 pounds just finished nursing school took a road trip across the states and I ate everything and anything I could possbily want. and never stopped. The 45 pounds came back and more. I do go on lots of jaunts so I think being careful and a little anal is warrented. Think I will hold out on the weighing tho til next week. I think being on guard is a good things and not letting it down. Rememberiing where we have come from and where we don't want to return. Thanks Health Stewards for giving me a place where I can put these ideas down and become accountable for them . Have a great week all.

Posted by fellow HealthSteward Theresa-333 from California on Sep 6, 2010 I hear you! I hear you!! And thanks, in advance. My own road trip (and air trip!) begins in less than two weeks, and I needed that forewarning!! Hope all goes well with you. I'll be thinking of you a lot. I hope you will pray for me too! [hehe]
