I just realized that tomorrow it will be six months since I reached my first goal of losing 200 pounds and started re-introducing food after fasting for 10 months! At that time my plan was to stabilize my weight and start living my life in my new, improved body. The last six months have been almost more amazing than the 10 months of fasting. I have celebrated weddings, birthdays, graduations and funerals and the highs and lows of daily life and am continually amazed at how much fun life is! My days and experiences just get better and better.
I am overjoyed that I have been able to remain at the same weight I was when I stopped fasting. Ultimately I would like to lose another 20 or so pounds but I am willing to be patient with myself and allow the process to happen naturally.
I had a wonderful chance to visit and meet new Heath Stewards when we gathered for lunch last weekend. I can honestly say that being part of this group has been very rewarding and motivating for me. Thanks to all of you for your continued support!

I'm rejoicing with you at your new enjoyment of life! Sure beats sitting around, doesn't it? ;0) Have a lovely week, dear friend!

Posted by fellow HealthSteward Jane-112 from Australia on Jun 12, 2007 Well done Lorrie!!! When we've lost such a lot it's easier to forget the beginnings and worry about the last few - it's good to take the time to reflect. I think I said to someone else just before, that I am in a 'wow I can't believe how much I have lost AND kept it off' mode at the moment, despite fiddling around getting to goal. It's fantastic and you are looking soooooooo good. Keep it up. J
