This was an exciting day for me! The first time I can remember in my adulthood that I broke the 200 barrier! It's almost 3am now and I'm sorry I'm not going to be able to write more this week, I have been extremely busy (a very cute girlfriend who has been getting more of my attention lately!) so I will leave it at this and give ya'll a more detailed update next week, perhaps after my 4th of July 5K! Take care!

Posted by fellow HealthSteward Shirley-261 from Tennessee on Jun 27, 2007 WOW Michael! You lost 3.4 this week, jumped over into ONEderland, are about to do a 5K on July 4, and MET somebody special. Man, you have had a GOOD week, that's for sure. :) I'm especially excited for you about getting out of the 200s. There is something SO significant about not being in the 2's anymore. It's like moving over into "normal weight land." :) I can't wait to join you there and I will. I've never been more determined. Hope you have another GREAT week and continue to have this heart full of graitude! God is SO good! ~shirley~

Posted by fellow HealthSteward Rob-101 from Wisconsin on Jul 2, 2007 You Da Man!!! Go ahead Michael ... that's awesome!!! I'm glad you have a cute girlfriend to share your life with. I'm sure she's so excited for you as well. I can't wait to break the 200lbs mark. I can taste it BIG TIME. I just need to keep my focus and I know I'll do it by Christmas. I know I will because Jesus is my strength. I know one of the reasons I slipped is because I have not fully relied on Him. I'm sure I got lazy because I thought I ws doing so well. Then He just let me keep going down the path I was going until I finally "got it". He's here to help us but we have to realize where our help comes from. I guess I was being a real ignorant bone head for a time there. But isn't it awesome that we serve such a merciful God? He just reaches out His hand and lifts us up, and puts our feet back on solid ground and encourages us to keep on moving. He is an amazing God and I'm so deeply in love with Him. So thanks for your encouraging post. I needed that even though it was short and to the point. Have a blessed week Michael and enjoy your cutie ...
