Happy Friday, Everyone!

Well, this week was kind of a tough one for me once again with "celebrating" and "festivities" that I let come between me and my eatting plan.  We had several parties sith the kids and Halloween goodies that I failed to "Just Say No" to, so now I will be having sugar withdrawls this upcoming week again I just know it.  On the up side, I didn't gain any weight, so I'm happy about that considering all of the sugar I had, but once again I did not do good with my exercising...only walked 1 day out of the 7.

My work crunch at my job ended the end of October though, so I am thankful that it has slowed down a bit and all of my major deadlines have been met for the year and I can breath a little easier now until next August when it becomes totally insane once again.  I definitely do better with my exercising and eatting healthy  when I'm not so mentally drained from my job.  My husband and I are going away for the weeend for some "alone time" and my mom will be watching our 3 children and spending some fun time with them.  This will be the first over night trip we've made alone since our little girl came home last December, and it's long over due and we're REALLY looking forward to it!

I hope you all have a wonderful week of weight-loss!  Thank you to all who have posted encouragement to me, it really means a lot to me!  Now that my work has mellowed down some I'm hoping to be able to spend some more time reading everyone's updates and posting more feedback for all of you!

Enjoy!
Cheryl

Oh, that Halloween candy! Well, it's behind you now and you escaped relatively unscathed--so start preparing now for the challenges that Thanksgiving will bring. It might be a good idea to plan ahead exactly what you'll eat, write it down and make a contract with yourself--just a mental trick, but it's helped me in the past.
I hope you and your beloved are having a wonderful, romantic, re-charging weekend! Can't wait to hear about it--about some of it anyway, LOL!

How nice to get away without the kids! I'm going to be keeping my worship pastor's kids for 4 nights soon while he and his wife go to NYC for their anniversary. That's soooooo important!!!  Enjoy every minute!!! And try not to even think about the kids!!

Cheryl,
Have a great weekend with your husband.  It is so important to have alone time.  You might want to start having weekly dates.  Putting your marriage in its proper place is so important.  I'm glad your job is less stressful now.  Have a great week.

Cheryl,

Maybe since you know you will be going through sugar withdraw this week maybe you could   write down how you are feeling in a journal or record what you are going through and how it make you feel. And use those items to remind you at a later time of what you experienced because for some reason we forget those ugly details.  :)

Remember as the holidays come and go that each actual holiday is only really one day for each. So if you overeat during the holidays try and remember to keep your overeating to only the actual day of the holiday.

I pray you have a blessed week. Lorrie
